Franklin is an energetic young male, approximately 1.5 years old.  He is housebroken and crate trained.  He is quiet in a crate.  He walks well on a leash with a pinch collar.  He loves to go hiking.  He is very playful and would make a great companion for a young, energetic dog.  He is in a foster home with 2 female Dobermans and plays with the younger one constantly.  He would be too much for an old dog.

Franklin’s foster family is teaching him to sit and wait before going through a doorway and he’s doing very well.  He is smart and trainable, but he does need exercise and mental stimulation.

Franklin was adopted from an out-of-state shelter, but was too much for his home with 3 young children.  He was fine with the children, but too rambunctious.
