Crystal
Crystal is a very playful, active young girl. Someone found her sitting on the interstate after being hit by a car, and they took her to animal control. Her right rear leg was broken. By the time we got her it had started to heal on its own. We took her to the orthopedic specialist and they felt that the leg had been healing long enough that repair surgery would be extremely difficult. Since she was already using the leg somewhat they felt it was best to just let it continue to heal on its own. We've had her since June 3 and her leg has done remarkably well. She uses it almost all the time, only occasionally limps. She runs and plays like any other dog. Video of Crystal fetching a ball.
We think Crystal is about a year old. She is fun and puppyish and a little mouthy. She plays very well and very rough with the male Rottweiler in her foster home. She will respect a dog who tells her to get lost.
Crystal sleeps in a crate at night and wakes up every morning READY TO PLAY, but she does calm down after breakfast and some play. Once she burns off some energy and tires out the other dogs she's pretty good about entertaining herself. If you just hand her a chew toy she'll go off and chew it for a while or she'll pull a toy out of the toy box herself.
Crystal is crate trained and mostly housebroken. She does occasionally have an accident in the house but if she's let out often she won't. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She weighs about 70 lbs. Her adoption fee is $250. Her adopter must live within an hour's drive of Atlanta, give or take a little. If you are interested in adopting Crystal, please email us.
