Diesel

Diesel is a very active, playful 2 year old red Doberman.  He has the energy level you'd expect of a young male Doberman so he will need plenty of exercise.  His foster parents take him running on a regular basis and this definitely helps expend his energy.  He would not do well alone all day while no one is home.  He could use some work on leash walking - he is extremely strong and will pull, at least at first.  

Diesel is in a foster home with a 7 year old boy and he does great with him.  He grew up with another Doberman and was submissive to him.  They played well and we believe he'd do well with another dog.

Diesel is crate trained but doesn't love being crated.  He will cry and bark for 10 or 15 minutes when left in a crate, but then settles down and goes to sleep.  He would not be a good candidate for living in an apartment, condo or townhome because of the exercise requirements and the barking when crated.

Diesel has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  Diesel's adoption fee is $400. His adopter must live within an hour's drive of Atlanta, give or take a little. If you are interested in adopting Diesel, please email us.
