Dover

Dover is a handsome young red male with natural ears and a docked tail.  We think he's about 2 years old. He is playful and social. He wrestles with the much smaller female Doberman in his foster home and often lets her pin him. He likes to be around both people and dogs, as close as you will physically allow him. He is comfortable with both men and women. 

 

Dover is interested in chasing squirrels and other small animals, but is not dog reactive on leash. He is a medium intensity walker - he doesn't need to go very far to spend his energy, and he's more interested in sniffing and exploring than he is in reaching a destination. 

 

Dover is good at getting corrections from both people and dogs. He doesn't like to be in trouble and just wants everyone to get along. He is well-behaved in the crate and non-destructive in the house. But he will try to sneak and eat dirty socks if they are left out! 

 

Dover is vocal - he whines for attention or when he's excited or when something is about to happen (dinner, walk, etc).  But he is not so loud that he is disruptive. He stays in the home office while his foster mom works remotely. 

Dover has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $300. His adopter must live within an hour's drive of Atlanta, give or take a little. If you are interested in adopting Dover, please email us.
